list of ministries within the parish. They are diverse, ranging
from music, to prayer, to catchesis, alter servers, Information
Technology, Youth and many more. If you are interested in joining
any of these ministries, please do not hesitate to contact the

came to serve, not to be served"
Altar
Servers assist at Mass and other forms of worship. Any girl
or boy who worships regularly, and is in year 4 or higher may
apply to train for this ministry. Coordinator: Francesca Parisi
Acolytes
assist the priest at the altar, administer communion to the
sick, and lead prayer and worship where appropriate. Coordinator:
Lito Briones
The
team runs preparation sessions and assist at welcoming mass
and Baptisms.
The
Bereavement Team support families in preparation of a loved
one's funeral. The team also creates opportunities for the whole
parish community to better understand grief and its effects
in life.
The
team presents the Scriptures to children at the 9:00am Sunday
Mass.
Catechists
teach the faith to the children of the parish who attend State
Schools within the parish. They also help with the Parish Sacramental
program.

The
CWL serves the needs of the parish through regular prayer and
practical service. It also supports the wider Church in many
ways. The group meets during the day.
Groups
offer their time once a month to clean the Church and surrounding
outdoor areas.

The
Finance Committee assists the Parish Priest in managing the
finances of the parish.
The
Parish Council represents the whole parish community, and working
in team ship with the parish priest, aims to develop the parish
so that it may continue to allow all parishioners, young and
old to come to know Christ and his mission.
The
IT Ministry Team is responsible for the creation and update
of this web site, the production of the weekly bulletin and
provides consultation to other groups within the Parish on IT-related

The
Liturgy Committee assists the Parish Priest in developing the
liturgical life of the parish.
A
diversity of musical styles ranging from traditional to more
contemporary seeks to express the breadth of the Catholic tradition.
Ministers
assist with the distribution of communion at Mass, visit the
sick, and can lead worship where appropriate. Coordinator: Dorothy
Sloane
The
team runs the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults)
program by which adults become part of the Catholic Church.

Readers
are commissioned to proclaim the word of God in the worshipping
assembly, lead groups in breaking open the Word, and commit
themselves to growth in understanding of and respect for the
Word. Coordinator: Norie Howard
The
Parish Sacramental Team assists parents in the Sacramental formation
of their child as they prepare for the Sacraments of Initiation
within the parish throughout the year.

Vincent De Paul Society |
The
Society caters for the needs of the poor in the parish. Visiting
people in the community and assisting them with food, clothing
and other necessities. Vinnes also run our Parish Piety Shop.
From religious books to holy crosses, the piety stall sells
it all. Come and see for yourself. It is located to the left

This
committee gather each month to work on a master plan for the
redevelopment of the Parish site in the near future.
Many
young parishioners gather to practice and then lead in music
and song every second Sunday of the month at our children Mass
at 9:00am.
A
group of parish youth and adults gather regularly to plan youth
activities within the Parish.
All
parents and children under 5 are welcome each Thursday please
